World Languages

This program provides students with a brief introduction to a foreign language.

The language classes allow children to learn simple words, experience art, books, and songs from a specific country or culture.

Mon: Swahili

Tues: Spanish

Wed: Chinese & Dari

Thurs: Spanish

• Eligibility: grades 2 - 5
• 6 weeks: April 13 - May 22, 2026
• Meets after school, weekly, 3:00 - 4:00p.m.
• $30 (scholarships are available, please contact WendyS@spokaneschools.org)

Registration opens Monday, March 30, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.

If your child would like to do multiple classes, please first sign up for one class and join the waitlist for any additional classes. This helps us ensure that every child gets access to these courses.

Parents must complete the SPS Activity Permission form to finalize registration in the program.
