This program provides students with a brief introduction to a foreign language.

The language classes allow children to learn simple words, experience art, books, and songs from a specific country or culture.

Mon: Spanish

Tues: Japanese, Chinese

Wed: Japanese, Dari, French, Swahili

Thurs: Russian

Details

• Eligibility: grades 1 - 5 (Japanese & Spanish will be offered to grades 2 - 5 only)
• 6 weeks: October 13 - November 21 (no classes Tuesday, Nov 11 due to the Veteran's Day holiday)
• Meets after school, weekly, 3:00 - 4:00p.m.
• $30 (scholarships are available, please contact WendyS@spokaneschools.org)

Registration opens Monday, September 29, at 8:00 a.m.

If your child would like to do multiple classes, please first sign up for one class and join the waitlist for any additional classes. This helps us ensure that every child gets access to these courses.

Parents must complete the SPS Activity Permission form to finalize registration in the program.
